Marketing Mastery & Fitness Watch Frenzy

Sambha this side — and here’s your tea for this week.

The work week started with Salman and Aamir bring back a fun team-building exercise. It was swift, simple, and super – fun. The entire office was split into two — Team Salman and Team Aamir — with all the team members queuing behind their captains who were facing each other like rival generals. The game was all about guessing which side the head of the rival team member would lean, and bending your wrist to that side. If you guessed correctly, you won and the rival player was eliminated, but if you guessed wrong, you were eliminated and the other team got to guess. This went on until all the players of one team got eliminated. It was a close one. In the end, only one contestant was left from each team — Madhur from Team Salman and Kajal from Team Aamir. Madhur had to guess which side Kajal was going to rotate her head to, but he failed as Kajal was looking down and his wrist was pointing left — and with that, Aamir’s team grabbed the victory.

But the most insightful part of the week was yet to come, when Kajal started teaching the office about marketing. Professor Kajal taught  marketing basics every day before tea break .Most employees listened with utmost attention — except for Aniket, who was busy being the classroom clown, cracking jokes and lightening the mood.

Terms like CTA, LTV, Churn Rate, and Sales Funnel were flung out, which honestly went over my head. My tiny camera brain didn’t understand anything but captured everything, though. On the contrary, the employees grasped most of the topics taught to them. The real-life examples and case studies definitely helped. The sweet part came after the class when Kajal gave sweets to the attentive students — unfortunately, I didn’t get any.

During the week, creatives for Srias Life Spaces were designed, and the websites for the Sankalp event and ICBC were developed. Meanwhile,  Saquib caused a health frenzy flaunting his watch’s ability to measure body fat, which prompted everyone to check theirs — and the results disappointed pretty much everyone except for Aamir, who got an impressive 11.4%. His three years of gymming paid off, I presume.

The tail end of the week was surprisingly peaceful, with everyone engrossed in work, trying to finish all their tasks assigned  before EOD so that they could enjoy their weekends and to their credit, they pulled it off.

That’s all from your friendly office observer. Do not forget to return next week!
