Halloween Havoc

This Halloweek was both sweet and spooky. The week starts with a new entry to the design team with a new graphic design intern, Shabnam, joining the team, doubling the number of Shabnams (2). To avoid confusion, the team is looking for a nickname for one of them. That was the sweet part—now for the spooky one: the dreaded week of quarterly reviews, with anxiety sprawling through every corner of the week. But in the end, the feedback turned out to be more treat than trick—giving everyone the clarity and motivation to level up for the next quarter.

More on the work front, the digital marketing team worked tirelessly to adapt our SEO strategy to the evolving AI landscape. Naresh, Anjali, and Madhur led the initiative, introducing AEO and GEO optimizations to strengthen content visibility and future readiness. Meanwhile, the designers were busy making creatives for SRIAS Life Spaces and Uniglobe’s calendar.

But the fun part came towards the tail end of the week, when the team celebrated Halloween. The team made scary paper bag masks and made super fun videos. The design team, of course, stole the spotlight—with Anoop’s Venom-inspired mask and Salman’s adorable ghost becoming instant favorites. Their creativity truly shone through, proving that design talent knows no bounds! You can check out the entire process on our Instagram channel. For a while, the office felt delightfully eerie—filled with scary masks, playful pranks, and an infectious festive spirit. It was the perfect way to wrap up the week on a spooky yet joyful note.

Halloween wasn’t the only reason for celebration this week—it was also Aamir’s birthday! Though he took the day off, he came back with a bang the next day and treated the entire team to delicious Chinese food. What followed was nothing short of a mini celebration in itself—the office buzzed with excitement as everyone gathered around for a cheerful cake-cutting ceremony. There was laughter, music, and plenty of good vibes filling the air. The celebration perfectly captured the team’s spirit—fun, energetic, and always ready to make every moment count.

So, that’s how our week went—new beginnings, spooky fun, creative chaos, and a whole lot of cake. Until next time, this is Sambha, signing off from the JV Diaries
