This week at JV was a rollercoaster of traditions, celebrations, and heartfelt goodbyes, making it one of those weeks that everyone will remember for a while.
The festive season of Navratri set the tone early on, meals went all sattvic — no onion, no garlic, and of course no non-veg. For some, it was an easy adjustment, but for others, the sudden switch tested patience and taste buds.

Mid-week, the energy in the office picked up another notch when Anoop sir decided to level up his OG workstation—adding an extra monitor that instantly transformed his desk into a setup straight out of a hacker movie. The dual-screen vibe not only looked incredibly cool but also got everyone buzzing about productivity and aesthetics.
On the work front, the focus remained sharp with efforts directed towards the ICBC website, Sankalp Bharat, and creative deliverables for SRIAS, ensuring progress continued despite the distractions of festivities and fun.

Around the same time, the team decided to take a playful breather, and what started as a casual round of darts quickly turned into a full-fledged competition. Each employee got the chance to throw five darts, and the total points at the end decided the ultimate score. As expected, Anoop performed well as usual, showing his consistency. Madhur also did well, but a few playful complaints arose that his height gave him an unfair advantage when aiming at the board. Saquib and Aniket showcased solid performances too, keeping the game lively. Naresh struggled for the most part, but in a surprising twist, he was the only one who managed to hit the coveted 100-point shot, instantly becoming a highlight of the match. Salman, with his unorthodox dart-throwing style, kept everyone entertained— sometimes landing excellent shots, other times completely missing, making his turns unpredictable and fun to watch. Aamir initially struggled quite a bit, but after Anoop guided him on how to throw properly, his performance improved drastically, earning applause from the group. And then there was Charu, who kept restarting whenever the dart didn’t hit the board, claiming each attempt was just a “trial,” sparking laughter and light-hearted banter across the room. Every throw was faithfully documented by Kalia, the mischievous eye of the reception CCTV.”

As the week wound down, the mood shifted toward heartfelt celebrations and farewells. The highlight was celebrating Anoop sir’s birthday, and the entire office came together to make it special. All the employees gathered in the reception area, eagerly waiting to welcome and greet him. The moment he arrived, he was met with cheerful signs saying “Happy Birthday Sir”, accompanied by gifts, greeting songs, handshakes and warm hugs that brought the space to life. A special fruit cake had been ordered just for him, making the occasion sweeter and more memorable. The celebration didn’t stop there—Anoop sir treated everyone with a spread of burgers, fries, and noodles, adding to the joy and laughter of the moment. Right alongside the birthday cheer, the team also bid farewell to Saquib, a moment that carried both smiles and emotions as everyone reflected on shared memories and wished him the very best for the future.

And that’s how the week went! From celebrations to competitions, it was one to remember. Here’s to another exciting week ahead—see you next week!
