Sick Leaves & Superpowers

This week at Jai Veeru Creatives, the vibes were slightly under the weather. Literally.
Looks like the great viral wave of 2025 decided to make a surprise guest appearance—complete with sore throats, sneezing symphonies, and an office playlist that included coughs between every click.

But here’s the thing about this team: even when tissues replaced sticky notes, the JV spirit refused to slow down.

Ranjini and Jiko announced early in the week that they’d be missing from action, caught up in client visits and out-of-station meetings. Normally, their absence might cause a little flurry, but this time, something beautiful happened. The team didn’t just fill the gap—they owned it. From managing deadlines to handling briefs, everyone stepped into their roles (and a few extra ones) like seasoned pros. There were moments of quiet chaos, sure, but also incredible coordination, problem-solving, and those little acts of “I got you” that make JV what it is.

Between tasks, there were tea rounds for the tired, “kaadha” jokes, and lots of shared paracetamol advice. Bhumika emerged as the office medic, while Kajal kept spirits up with her half-worried, half-funny commentary on everyone’s condition. And even through all of this, client deliveries didn’t pause, designs didn’t stop, and ideas didn’t dry up. Work was happening—not loudly, not dramatically, but consistently and with care.

Through sniffles and screen-time, what stood out this week wasn’t just the hustle, but the heart. Even Sambha, our all-seeing camera, caught fewer brainstorms and more blanket burritos, but also those small, beautiful moments of team spirit—the kind that doesn’t need a leader in the room to know what to do.

Until next week, Sambha (still masked up and full of respect) —Documenting compassion, caffeine, and quiet courage.
