Sambha here, your favorite office observer, bringing you the latest scoop from another week at Jai Veeru Creatives.

This week started with the most challenging but also the most fun team-building activity so far; the office was split into groups of four, tasked with balancing pens between their fingers without letting them drop. To make things difficult, the manager kept giving sit-and-stand instructions that everyone had to follow while keeping the pens steady. Even though it sounded simple, trust me on this—it was super tough and needed great coordination and balance to win. The all-girls team of Kajal, Charu, Shabnam, and Anjali outbalanced the entire office and stood tall as champions.
And then it came once again—the dreaded rain returned. This year it feels like the rain has definitely overstayed its welcome—the sheer amount of rainfall is abysmal. Please, Indra Dev, just stop! Rain has caused way too many jams, delays, and colds this season. But all is forgiven for the gorgeous weather that follows, which lifts every employee’s mood, especially when complemented by Monsoon Melodies playing in the office accompanied by appetizing snacks.
Later this week, our reception became Wankhede Stadium with Kajal batting like Sachin. Ayush, fueled by Brett Lee’s spirit, bowled yorkers, while Madhur transformed into Jonty Rhodes in the field, diving around in hopes of a one-tip, one-hand catch. Shreya became the commentator, while Anjali, Naresh, and Shabnam cheered on as the audience. The lunch break turned into nothing short of an IPL thriller, and luckily I had the VIP seat for it. Boundaries were raining down, and catches were being dropped, making it feel like a batter-friendly wicket. In the thrilling match, fun triumphed — all of it recorded by my partner-in-crime, Kalia (the reception’s CCTV).

Between all this fun, the team worked on creatives for SRIAS Life Spaces, made sleek designs for Uniglobe’s regional conference, and ran WhatsApp marketing campaigns. The week ended on a sweet note when Aniket, Salman, and Aamir surprised their guru of design, Anoop Sir, with a bunch of chocolates—a truly wholesome moment. Not gonna lie, there were even a few tears on my lens. Anyway, that’s a wrap—catch you next week.
