Office Abhi Baaki Hai…

Hello everyone,

Sambha here, your very own JV Journal narrator!

Monday morning, everyone walked into the office looking like it was their last day at JV. The excitement was written all over their faces—“Tomorrow, Work From Home begins!” No traffic, no travel, just laptop, chai and ghar ka comfort.

But little did they know…

“Picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost!”

Their WFH dreams were about to meet the biggest plot twist—the UTSA event! Until the event is over, everyone is staying right here in the office. And just like that, Kajal almost lost the secret bet she had with Anoop.

What was the bet?

“Secret hai bhai… secret hai.”

Meanwhile, the office looked like it was preparing for a complete transformation. Systems were being dismantled, things were getting packed, and wires were disappearing one by one. For a moment, I thought, “Are we moving offices or just preparing for WFH?”

And just when I thought the rain chapter was finally over…

Surprise!

Sawan may have left, but it clearly forgot to take the rain along. 🌧️ It keeps showing up whenever it feels like it, as if it has a permanent invitation to JV.

On the work front, Anoop and Sheetal are completely occupied with UTSA EDMs. One creative gets finished, another one enters the scene. And because apparently there wasn’t enough on Anoop’s plate, Venkat added another task—fixing the Sunshine Smart City website design.

And this time, Venkat didn’t just assign the work and disappear. He got pulled into the mission too!

“Aap bhi kya yaad rakhenge!”

Meanwhile, Anjali has been busy preparing the Sunshine Smart City report. But between reports and deadlines, she has also taken up another important responsibility—reminding Venkat Sir about the next Sunshine post.

“Sir, Sunshine ki next post bana do.”

Once.

Twice.

And probably until the post appears.

The festive season has also kept the creative department busy. Janmashtami creatives are barely out of the frame, and Teacher’s Day creatives have already made their entry. At JV, one festival ends and another deadline immediately says—

“Don’t worry, main hoon na.”

And then there is the food department.

Honestly, I don’t know how these people manage to work without ordering something from outside. Their food schedule seems more organised than some of their work schedules.

And no, I’m not talking about eating here.

I’m talking about ordering food from outside!

Because apparently, paapi pet waits for nobody.

Now let’s talk about Kajal.

For the last two weeks, Delhi traffic had been testing her patience. Every morning came with a new traffic story and a little more frustration.

But today…

NO TRAFFIC!

And suddenly, Kajal was happy.

It was as if the universe finally said, “Aaj khush toh bahut hoge tum.”

After two weeks of traffic torture, she finally got her peaceful journey. Small things, big happiness!

And then came Sheetal’s biggest mission of the week—finding Superman.

For an entire week, the search was on. I was beginning to think we needed to launch a proper investigation team.

But finally…

Superman has been found!

And the best part?

The creative got approved too!

Mission Superman: SUCCESS.

And that’s basically JV in a nutshell—a small little office where everyone is busy doing their own thing, yet somehow everyone’s story becomes everyone else’s entertainment.

One person is fighting deadlines, another is chasing approvals, someone is fighting Delhi traffic, someone is searching for Superman, and someone is simply waiting for the next food order.

And me?

I’m sitting here, watching it all happen.

Because at JV, work may have deadlines, but the drama has no deadline.

Until next week’s plot twist…

Sambha signing off.
