Team Building: JV Version

This week at Jai Veeru Creatives, we welcomed a new addition to our ever-growing web team — Rahul. With his arrival, the web team is stronger than ever. True to JVC’s spirit, he got a taste of our fun-loving culture right on his very first day through a hilarious team-building activity. The idea came from Naresh, and it was simple yet chaotic — every member had to place a bottle on a plate while blindfolded. One by one, everyone tried their luck. Some overshot the mark, some fell short, and a few had no idea where their bottles ended up. In the end, only Charu and Anoop managed to successfully pull it off. Feeling triumphant, they jokingly demanded gifts for their victory — but all they received were hearty cheers and playful applause.

But the fun didn’t stop there. This week had not one but two team-building activities, doubling the laughter and competition. The second game was supposed to be organized by activity in-charges Salman and Aamir, but when they couldn’t finalize one, Ranjini stepped up and introduced a creative twist to the classic game of Tic Tac Toe — a “Flip Cup Tic Tac Toe” challenge. The office was split into two teams: Team Aamir and Team Salman. The goal was to get three cups in a row, column, or diagonal, but with a catch — a cup could only be placed if it landed upright after a flip.

The match had four rounds. The first two were completely dominated by Team Salman, leaving Team Aamir with no chance to recover. Suspicious of their opponents’ “magic cups,” Team Aamir requested to swap cups — and to everyone’s surprise, they won the next round, thanks to Anoop’s outstanding effort. However, their victory was short-lived. In the final round, even the so-called unlucky cup couldn’t stop Team Salman from reclaiming their winning streak, sealing the final score at 3–1. Team Salman was declared the champions of the week.

While the games brought plenty of energy, the work front was equally eventful. The office welcomed another visit from the Uniglobe client, who came in to work on their calendar project. Meanwhile, one of the most anticipated moments arrived — the reveal of the new SRIAS logo. The reveal campaign was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a seven-day cryptic Instagram story series that kept everyone guessing and perfectly built up curiosity before the grand reveal.

Of course, no week is complete without a little tech drama, and this time it starred Naresh. He was really going at it earlier this week, working super hard with two keyboards and two mice, a true multitasking wizard. Thankfully, it came back to life after a while, but not before forcing Naresh to temporarily move to one of the vacant systems to keep the work going

So that’s a wrap for this week at Jai Veeru Creatives — a week filled with teamwork, creativity, laughter, and a touch of chaos. See you next week, right here.
