The week began with a warm welcome to Shreya, our newest team member, who will be working from home. During the Monday huddle, the team introduced themselves with their signature mix of humor and warmth. Salman, of course, couldn’t resist a joke, “Shreya, kaam se zyada humare chai breaks ki stories famous hain!” The laughter that followed made it clear – Shreya was now part of the JVC family.
Amidst the laughter, the workload was intense, with the team juggling event preparations. Decorations, designs, and deadlines kept everyone busy, but the festive spirit made it all feel lighter. The highlight of the week was the Christmas tree decoration. The team gathered around, adding ornaments, lights, and ribbons, turning the office corner into a winter wonderland. Shreya even joined the fun virtually, suggesting ideas and cheering as the team showed her the final look. “It looks magical!” she said, and the sentiment was shared by everyone.
Midweek, Ranjini took a serious yet essential moment to explain the company’s POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policy, ensuring everyone felt informed and safe in the workplace. Her approachable style made it easy for the team to ask questions and understand the importance of maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment.
And just when everyone thought the week couldn’t get better, Ranjini announced the much-awaited Annual Party. “Mark your calendars, everyone – our Annual Party is happening soon!” she said, sparking cheers and immediate discussions about outfits and party plans. “DJ kaun hoga?” Salman asked, only half-joking.
The week ended on a musical note with a karaoke activity that turned the office into a mini concert. Kajal’s dramatic rendition of “Tu Hi Re” had everyone clapping, while Anoop’s energetic “Lakdi ki kathi” performance brought the house down. Even Ranjini joined in alongside Anoop, showing that no one at JVC shies away from a little fun.
As the team wrapped up for the week, the excitement for the Annual Party and the satisfaction of another productive week left everyone in high spirits.
