Hello hello. Sambha reporting live from the only office where deadlines exist, but somehow UNO cards still manage to get equal importance. The week started unusually calm. Suspiciously calm. After the successful completion of Sankalp Africa Summit 2026, the entire team had slipped into what can only be called “post-event recovery mode.” Laptops were open, work was technically happening, but something else had quietly made its grand comeback to the table. UNO. The legendary deck returned, cold coffee supplies were strong, and strategy discussions started sounding a lot like, “Reverse daal, reverse daal!”
Of course, work was still happening. Meetings for EasyEats and the Cancham website were moving forward, calls were taken, and notes were made. But if you looked closely, you could sense a different kind of energy building in the office. Holi was coming. And at JV, that never stays a small event.
The first real sign appeared during lunch. What was meant to be a simple meal slowly turned the office into a mini food festival. Plates kept refilling, conversations kept getting louder, and for a short, glorious time, diet plans officially took a leave of absence. Everyone focused on the only mission that mattered in that moment. Eating happily.
Then came the twist. The office is split into two teams. Team Charu versus Team Sumit. Suddenly, everyone discovered a
hidden competitive spirit they didn’t even know existed. The games began with cup pyramid challenges, balloon balancing acts, and balls flying confidently toward buckets. Some shots were impressively accurate. Others were… creatively inaccurate. But accuracy wasn’t the real goal. Laughter was. And there was plenty of it echoing across the room.
Just when everyone thought the chaos had reached its peak, the office turned into a real-life version of Among Us. Suspicion filled the room instantly. People started pointing fingers, defending themselves, and accusing others with full confidence. Trust levels dropped dramatically as everyone tried to figure out who the impostor might be.
Then came perhaps the most unexpected challenge of the day: a creativity round in which teams had to imagine their own version of Earth. That’s when imagination levels truly went wild. Protein rivers were flowing across continents, entire planets where exams didn’t exist, swimming chips, time travellers casually dropping into lunch breaks, and something called a “knowledge machine,” which honestly sounded a little too powerful for the office to handle. Innovation levels had officially reached their peak.
After all the fun, chaos, and competitive spirit, Team Charu emerged victorious. And in true JV tradition, the celebration wasn’t dramatic speeches or victory dances. It was chocolates. Shared with everyone. Because some traditions here are simply non-negotiable.
And finally, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived. Holi. One moment, the office looked perfectly normal. The next moment, colours were everywhere. Gulal filled the air, selfies started from every corner, and within minutes, every face in the room had transformed into shades of pink, green, yellow, and sometimes mysteriously purple. The office stopped looking like a workplace and started looking like a moving rainbow.

And that’s how Holi unfolded at JV. A day filled with games, laughter, creativity, and colours flying in directions no one planned. Because here, festivals are not just celebrated. They are fully lived. And Sambha happily reports that this Holi had the perfect mix of chaos, colour, and memories.
