Sambha here again—reporting live from the wonderfully chaotic headquarters of Jai Veeru, where every Monday begins with ambitious plans, every Friday ends with stories worth remembering, and somewhere in between… productivity and distractions fight for custody of the week.

After last week’s relentless rain, Monday greeted us with sunshine.
Finally.
Blue skies, warm sunlight, and just enough optimism to convince everyone that maybe the monsoon had taken a break.
Spoiler alert—it hadn’t.

By Wednesday, the rain was back with full dramatic effect, reminding us that the weather department clearly enjoys plot twists more than Netflix writers.
Before the rain stole the spotlight, the office found another distraction—Raja, Mantri, Chor, Sipahi.Shree, Anjali, Mannat, and Kajal had barely started playing when Ranjini arrived, confiscated the chits, and declared, “Back to work.”
Game over.

Or so everyone thought.
The real winner of that incident turned out to be Shree.
Not because she played well.
Simply because…
She was losing.
Sometimes, victory arrives in unexpected forms.

This week, the unpredictable weather finally caught up with Sheetal, who fell sick after battling the constant shift between sunshine, rain, air conditioning, and the kind of weather that makes you question whether carrying an umbrella is even worth it.

Ironically, while the rain managed to attack immunity, it also managed to improve office aesthetics.
the windows became everyone’s favourite workstation.
Laptops migrated.
Chairs relocated.
Conversations shifted.

For a brief moment, the office looked less like a workplace and more like a café where everyone pretended to work while secretly appreciating the view.
Some people watched the rain.
Some listened to it.
Some used it as the perfect excuse to stare outside while “thinking.”
And honestly…
No one complained.

Then came one of the week’s most mysterious moments.
The office door opened, and a tall figure in a long black coat walked in.
Batman?
In broad daylight?
Turns out it was just Anoop in his raincoat. He may not have saved Gotham, but the raincoat definitely saved him from the monsoon.

No week at Jai Veeru is complete without the most important meeting of all—deciding what to eat.
After a long debate, McDonald’s won.
Feeling he deserved a reward after working on the JCR office branding, Anoop confidently ordered large fries.
Unfortunately, the fries were neither large nor memorable.
Some heartbreaks are emotional.
Others come in overpriced cardboard boxes.

To recover from the tragedy, everyone switched to Dumb Charades.
Round one was chaotic.
Round two proved that nobody could remember movie names.
The game ended with one unanimous decision—returning to work would be less embarrassing.
While the fun continued, work never stopped.

Behind every laugh, every snack break, and every rain-watching session, projects quietly kept moving.
The team continued creating content for Tressez, polishing presentations for the upcoming UTSA event, and ensuring deadlines stayed exactly where they belonged—under control.
Anjali finally crossed one major milestone this week.
The Guru Purnima creative was approved, posted, and officially out in the world.
A sigh of relief echoed through the office.
Or at least it lasted for a few minutes.
Because before the post had enough time to collect likes, Anjali had already moved on to worrying about the next festival.
Independence Day.
Everyone told her to relax.
The solution?
Ramen.
Because deadlines always seem lighter after noodles.

Meanwhile, Kajal spent the week juggling revisions for the JCR website while also refining the Tressez strategy, proving once again that multitasking isn’t a skill.
It’s a survival mechanism.
As the week slowly moved toward Friday, another chapter quietly came to an end.

It was Shree and Mannat’s final week at Jai Veeru before starting college.

Since the past month they had become part of the daily office routine.

Now, suddenly, it was time to say goodbye.
Like every meaningful farewell, this one didn’t need a grand speech.

It needed momos.
Because if there’s one food that understands emotions better than people, it’s a plate of steaming hot momos shared around the office.
Along with the food came advice.
Best wishes.
Stories from seniors.
Career tips.
College reminders.
And plenty of promises to stay in touch.
The office may have been losing two interns…
But hopefully, it had gained two lifelong members of the Jai Veeru family.

Friday arrived carrying another office tradition.
Breakfast.
This week’s menu?
Samosas.
Exactly what Friday mornings deserve.

Naturally, dessert followed.
Shree warmed her brownie perfectly.
Kajal tried doing the same.
The brownie had other plans.
A few overheated seconds later, Kajal earned nothing but Shree’s legendary side-eye.

Looking back, this week had it all—rain, Batman (or rather Anoop in a raincoat), interrupted games, disappointing fries, forgotten movie names, creative wins, farewell momos, and one very overcooked brownie.

It also marked the end of summer. If this season had a title, it would be:
“The Summer We All Turned a Little Unhealthy.”
Too many fries. Too much ramen. Too many momos. Too many brownies.
Because that’s life at Jai Veeru—deadlines keep us busy, food keeps us together, and every week gives us another story worth telling.
